There is no really good bank deposit report that shows each bank deposit total and the line items that go into that deposit over a given period.

The "Deposit Detail" report isn't useful.

For that report, I need to add a distribution account to even begin to understand what it is showing.

What it shows is a long string of numbers, mixing in the total amount in the bank with all the line items--so it's very difficult to see how each deposit was split.

In addition, it shows all the figures in the same column, with bank fees that reduced a deposit as a positive and an amount deposited to pay off an A/R account as a negative.

My client (that has very complex deposits that is trying to reconcile entry against processing platform reports) can't make heads or tails of the deposit detail report. Because I can't find anything better, I'm taking screenshots of the deposit page to show them. Surely there has to be a better way of presenting data than using screenshots!
