Beginning Balance on Transaction Reports

You can no longer see a beginning balance when drilling down into the account detail and it's driving us absolutely insane. I have to roll back to 2/28 to see the actual beginning balance, when I used to be able to stay in the month I'm reviewing and get the beginning balance. This is insanely painful when reviewing a balance sheet.

we are having the same issue. this is unacceptable. also if there is no activity for the month, then the report is just blank and doesn't show the beginning balance or ending balance.
