Can we bring back the old search tool? It's much harder to search by a single term now. I have to specifically open the additional filters box and try typing it in first the memo and then the description to get decent results. Even if those boxes were visible, that would be an improvement.

Adding more context as a followup: "If I could actually have it show all my selected filters on screen, then it would be marginally helpful. But if will still only show me 5 filters at any given time. At least the old version used 2 rows so I could see them all. I don't want to have to customize every search field for every client I work on. The standard should be more useful."

Hi Tosha Anderson. It seems you are referring to the advanced transactions search function. You can customize the filters you see on the main screen by clicking the "Customize" button and then going under the Filters section to rearrange the order that shows on the main screen. You should also be able to see up to 5 filters and the number will reduce as you shrink your screen. Attaching screenshots for reference. Please let me know you if have any additional questions.

Thanks for the feedback, Tosha Anderson. Are you referring to the QBO search box or a specific search within reports?
Tosha Anderson
Aditi Sahani team is referring to QBO search tool.

I can use Ctrl+F on modern view, but it looks like the only way to close the find window is hitting Escape which isn't super intuitive. Can an X or Close button be added?
Subhanan Sahoo
Danielle Swift: Yes, a more intuitive experience is being implemented.
