Chris Macksey We have fixed this issue. The default dates and accounting method set in reporting option will be applied for all financial reports of the same company.
Please note: Once this setting is applied, it takes about 5 mins to take effect.

We have enhanced our modern report to honour the accountant's reporting preference. You should now be able to view the report as the default period set for a particular company.

Subhanan Sahoo Yes I see that now, for the main financial statements. But the Trial Balance report is pulled numerous times during a monthly close, while financials aren't meaningful until the close is complete. The biggest timesaver for our firm would be to include the Trial Balance in this default setting too.
