Do not remove option for classic reports.

I was just informed by email that QuickBooks is taking away the option for classic reports for the end of May. I do not understand modern reports, they see to be muddied up with columns nobody needs it. I don't need to deal with pivot tables or moving my reports into Excel. I just want to see a classic Profit & Loss Report, Balance Sheet Report, or report that I have memorized in a classic version. I don't think it is fair to only have the modern report option.
We need the clean, logical Classic reports option, please do not stop classic reports or I'm going to go insane!

Do not want modern view reports

I do not like modern view. My reports do not filter easily the way I need them to, You have to look everywhere for things that once worked are not longer available in the modern view. I don't understand why qbo insistently changes things when we are using something that works they change it, yet things that do not work years later still do not work. Making it hard for accountants and clients to run reports where they know they are and filter them as they always have then change them on what seems a whim, is not helpful especially since we are paying for this service. We should get the option to keep it classic and not be forced to use the modern view.

Despite sharing feedback that always appears to go unanswered, unaddressed, with no useful correspondence from Intuit, you're still trying to get rid of the classic reports option. I don't see a reason why both can't be made available. The modern version doesn't "fix all the things we didn't like" - in fact, in creates things we don't like. The formulas don't always work when exporting to Excel, most of the CPAs I know hate the "grouping" that comes inherent in these modern reports, the modern reports automatically sort accounts by putting balances that have a zero balance at the bottom of the report which is super annoying... Unfortunately I've just come to expect that when I have a concern or don't like something that Intuit views as an improvement, it doesn't actually listen to the CPA community and just implements what it wants, despite pushback. Please DO NOT get rid of the classic view reports and listen to the feedback for once...

I hate new reports, they waste so much time and do not collapse to the header accounts like Classic reports do. Bad move, Intuit. Why break something that works

Classic Reports are Better than Modern, By Far
Jennifer Collera (JC)
I'm tired of all the 'improvements' being made to the reports. Either leave the option to switch if wanted or leave it alone. These 'improvements' are truly not to those who work with reports everyday. Every time you click on a customization the report refreshes. The new look is not pleasing to actually look at. Anything that adds keystrokes to any process is Not time effective. Period.

We have been seriously considering finding an alternative for our clients due to this - Most of our work product revolves around reporting, and this is a massive disruption due to the inconsistency and incorrect output from modern reports. Intuit completely removing the classic report capability is such a terrible idea!

The modern reports are very confusing and difficult to use. It’s not easy to sort information, and there’s no option to alphabetize reports. Creating custom reports is also challenging and inefficient. Overall, the modern reporting features feel like a step backward and should be reconsidered.

Modern View Reports impact future use of QBO

Modern reports are terrible. Balance Sheets are out of balance. Expenses have a - but others do not. 75% increase in clicks to get the same report. Our firm is just curious as to when this failed experiment will go away and make the “classic view”, which is a more reliable, consistent, and efficient version, the only version. Feel free to reach out for specific examples of how bad these modern reports are.

The Classic View is better by far than the "modern" view. It is more appealing to the eye and is much easier to customize. Please stop changing reports just for the sake of adding new content.
There should be an option to ALWAYS use the Classic view so we don't have to change it every time we run a report.
Add the Classic View option back so that new clients have that option.
