Drill downs from P&L don't allow quick sorts

I like to drill down on GL expense or income account details and then quickly Group By many different things I might be trying to check. I am sure it's a possibility to do it in the design side of the Modern Reports, but it's not a quick step. Right now there is a Group By box you can choose and review the expense or income account you are looking at very quickly. If I want to total that expense account by month, vendor, even customer if it's for a project; it is quick and simple and in one step.

Sorting now works correctly and consistently across all detailed and grouped reports. Group level attributes such as customers and vendors are sorted alphabetically, and within each group, customers can independently sort by additional columns without affecting the overall group order. Sort preferences are also retained when saving a report as a custom report.
