In the current modern view of reports, performing basic and frequently used customizations — like displaying financial reports by month — requires multiple clicks. In contrast, this could previously be done with a single click in the classic view.

We’ve redesigned the reporting interface to give you the familiar ease of Classic view. We have now brought 'Display by' and compare option on the top panel.

Having global customizations SAVED would be huge.  I would love a global setting for all my GL & reports in my client or all my clients instead of having to set up custom reports.
I  may set it today but when I go back in tomorrow that setting is lost.  
IE) I want to get remove the adj/split and add debit/credit/balance for every transaction report.  I may click on a GL account from the Balance Sheet such as Auto Interest and I have to reset - esp if I refresh or go out and click it again.  Having  to save every GL account with a custom report is very frustrating!

Nipun Bhatia on one solution that will work great is in the URL parameters we could establish the settings that get modified the way it worked with classic report reports, that way we can bookmark all those settings and customizations and be able to pull them quickly
