Financial Statement Formatting Not Appropriate
planned

The new view of the financial statements is confusing and misleading. Accounts with subaccounts are indented rather than being in line with accounts at the same hierarchy level. In addition, the bolding of accounts with subaccounts within a same level of hierarchy is adding confusion during review. I feel like non-accounting professionals are designing the reports and the interface.

In the Modern version The next major/top level expense does not line up with the 1st.
In this example 6110 should not indent as much as it does. It looks like it is a sub category of 6000
I've included a snip of modern, classic and the COA

Agreed. I always select the link to view the old format because the new format is not accurate according to financial statement guidelines.
