This request demonstrates the current limitations of custom fields in modern view reports and additional features I would like to see in QBO to make this work for everyone.

Missing QBO Features
- There is no ability to display expenses or contra amounts as negative numbers on the modern view details reports.
- Grouped transactions provide an incorrect net balance in QBO. Exporting to Excel or Google Sheet is highly recommended.
- There is no default P&L By Custom Fields report yet in QBO. Custom Field is not a filterable field on any summary report. It works great on only detailed reports.
