General Ledger report - filter options

You used to be able to filter this report by ALL asset, liability, equity, income, COGS, or expense accounts. That doesn't seem to be the case anymore. I see you can filter by a particular account and include its sub-accounts, but for my purposes, I need to filter on ALL equity accounts. I can pick Draws and its sub-accounts, but I want to see ALL equity accounts (contributions, OBE, etc.), and I can't find how to do that. Getting this option back could be helpful when viewing all expense accounts, including those with sub-accounts and those without. It's annoying!

Quick update on an enhancement we have made to filtering in the General Ledger report!
What has been added
You can now apply filters on both Accounts and Distribution Accounts in the General Ledger report, bringing it to full parity with Classic Reports.
One Thing to Note
In Classic Reports, when you opened the account filter, you would see both individual accounts and account types (such as All Asset Accounts, All Liability Accounts, All Expense Accounts, etc.) listed together in the same dropdown.
In Modern Reports, we have separated these into two distinct filters:
- Account Types — for filtering by broad account categories such as assets, liabilities, expenses, and so on.
- Distribution Account Types — the same concept applied specifically to distribution accounts.
This separation makes the filtering experience cleaner and more intuitive. You can use any combination of these filters that works best for your use case.
This feature is now live in production and fully aligned with the Classic Reports experience.

Please use filter 'Account type' to get all accountant and sub-account for a particular account type like assets, liability, income etc

Sandy Rehart We have a filter named 'Account type' or 'Distribution account type' for all reports. This is where you get the option to choose All equity, All expesnse etc accounts.
For General Ledger. We do have this option to filter by account type, however we don't have double filter to include distribution account aswell. We are working on it and have it release by next week.

It would be nice to have different filter options such as "between", "greater than", or "not including" for accounts.
