Hide Zero Balances

We desperately need the availability to hide zero balances on custom reports. QBDT has this feature and we've been asking for it to be added to QBO for over 15 years. For our clients, we track both asset and liability balances by customer. When a balance reaches zero, we don't need it to show up on a report any longer. We used to be able to "reconcile" them off the report, but it doesn't work with the new UI. Please give us the option to hide the zero balances so our reports are easier to read.

Cannot suppress Inactive or Zero rows

Classic reports provided selection to display All/Only Active/ Only Non-Zero rows (and columns). The Modern View reports appear to be missing this capability. We find that being able to display only Non-Zero rows is very useful for many of our customers, as the extraneous 0s clutter up the report and often obfuscate the relevant data. Many customers complain about being presented with the $0 rows and want them removed, which requires manual effort on our part, multiplied for the customers who require multiple reports each month. Please provide this functionality

Jill Ulett Sabrina Reed 0$ and inactive accounts are now hidden by default. Even for detailed reports such as GL. Could you please check again and let me know if it persists.
Please note: This issue might exist on your saved report. Hence you need to refresh or reapply one of the filters to get the desired report.

Subhanan Sahoo Unfortunately that did not work. The clients with zero balances still show up on the report and show "0". In one client, instead of showing "0" it showed the word "Total". There is no option to hide those. On the plus side, the lists are now in alphanumeric order.

Subhanan Sahoo Good morning - What filters need to be applied to get the $0 accounts hidden? Those accounts are not hidden by default in our liability reports and I don't see any options to make this happen. To be clear, this is not about standard report views; we track both assets and liabilities by customer through customized reports and need the 0-balance accounts to not show up at all on them.
Is there also a way to not have the transaction count show up on the reports? Or give us the option to toggle it off? It impacts the flow of the reports. Thank you.

Remove inactive accounts from reports

My GLs are including accounts that were made in active in 2017. There is no place to tell it to only include active accounts. Of course, I should not have to say anything - that should be the default. Only show inactive accounts when running reports for a period in which there was activity.

I want to add that Jill (probably) means this in a detailed/drilldown report when the subtotal of that specific group adds to zero.
Jill Ulett let me know if i misread that.
