Posting dates don’t stick in Modern Reports
released

Hey Reports team. I'm in a CO id running the new QBO experience and interacting with the standard Balance Sheet report in modern view. I make a change to an account in another window. When in Classic view and I refresh the screen, the report format stays the same. When I do the same thing with Modern view it resets back to the default setting which is Report Period Custom dates, current year through today.
To change to Jan - May, I no longer have the option change this with two clicks, meaning select the calendar icon on the To box and select the last day of the prior month. I only have the option to select a day within the current month. My option is to change the report period. This year to last month, a very common report period is in the middle of the list. I type last and get Last week. I type yea and get Yesterday, I type mon and the report dates don't change so each time I need to refresh the report, I need to scroll down to change my report period. What would it take to mirror the functionality between classic and modern view? Thank you.

Julie Nilsen Thanks for your feedback and we have made significant changes to Modern reports which we feel will be helpful in your reporting experience:
- Regarding refreshing of screen and persisting the customization. Currently when do a 'browser' refresh then the customizations are lost. We are looking for technical solution to make this happen with Modern report. However, we have the 'Refresh' button on the report itself which will update the report with latest data. Attaching a screenshot for reference.
- We have now changed our 'Date' widget for Modern reports. You will now be able to select dates visible on the widget. Additionally, with the new widget - it you will be able to select months and years seamlessly with the dropdown.
Please give these features a try in the Modern report and let me know if you have any concerns.
