Report Functionality

We have identified a significant issue in the Modern View where grouping a balance sheet detail report by "Customer" does not sort alphabetically, unlike in the Classic View. This alphabetical sorting is critical for our firm's IOLTA compliance reporting and reconciliation processes, especially for law firms with many clients. We note that other reports, like "Sales by Customer," do sort alphabetically, which suggests the functionality is possible.
I would also like to note that the modern view report above includes all customers, even if they have no activity, no balance, and are inactive. This makes for a very unnecessarily long report that does not meet our needs for critical IOLTA compliance and reconciliation processes.
In addition, the modern view reports do not search effectively with the native Control-F. The system will only highlight matches found, but it will not jump to the next match.

Preach! We have the same issues with IOLTA reporting and have lost so much time due to Modern reporting. It's not only the alpha sorting that needs fixed, it's also the date sorting. We need everything to be in alpha and chronological order (to note, the Modern view P&L is also not in alpha order and causes a lot of confusion). And like Jane said, we need the ability to not show zero balances like QBDT has. We used to be able to reconcile the zero balances off the report, but when AI came in, it messed up that process. Please fix!
