Schedule Reports Not Working in Modern Reports

My existing clients have scheduled reports that send correctly in Classic reports. I tried to set up a similar schedule with two new clients and used Modern reports. The reports sent to the client in excel and not PDF. When I went to try and edit the "schedule" I was not able to do so. I can easily edit the schedule in Classic reports. I have spoken with Intuit support and was told the edit feature is available in 'Workflows' which I don't have access to in the current subscription level. They were not able to delete the workflow for me. I was told to delete the Modern reports and that would get rid of the scheduled reports. Last month my client received 4 separate emails with their scheduled reports. Apparently there are 3 workflows set up that I have no way of knowing are there and sending. The 4th email, I am assuming is from the scheduled report I have set up with Classic reports. I really need the ability to cancel these workflows. I also truly hope that moving forward I will have the ability to schedule reports in all subscription levels.
