Staff losing ability to run reports

This one seems weird and I'm not certain whether it stems from dev work on modern retorts but a few months ago one of our employees suddenly lost ability to run any standard reports. No changes were made to her user rights. We've double checked her user rights and they're correct. We've called Intuit support and they can't figure it out. As of last week, another employee is now experiencing this problem. Her current work around is running customized reports and manipulating those for her monthly review responsibilities. It seems since she can view customized reports, this points to some type of programming issue.

'Standard All access' role users were not able to access Modern reports. This issue has been fixed and released.

We still have several staff members where modern reports does not work at all, for any reports. Reports only work in Classic View for these users. Is anyone else having these problems? What is the new date to phase our Classic Reports? If this is not fixed before Classic is taken away, this will severely impact our operations.

Molly Pellegrino There was an issue with a specific role, because of which few users were unable to run reports. We did fix the same last week.
Could you please check and confirm if the issue still persists for your staff ?

Molly Pellegrino, I’d love to understand more about the issue. When you say the modern reports aren’t working, do you mean certain reporting functionalities are failing, or that the reports aren’t loading at all?
Also, the classic reports won’t be phased out in the upcoming quarter, and all users will receive a 60-day notice before they’re retired.

Subhanan Sahoo not working at all for 2 of our firm users. An error message is received when attempting to run any modern reports.

Subhanan Sahoo I just spoke with a dev at Connect. We logged in as one of my affected users so he could witness the error message received when running a P&L. He trouble shooted a few things and couldn't figure it out so he took my info for further investigation.

the modern reports are awful - the look is terrible - the scroll bar needs to be at far edge of screen and for crying out loud - the developers need to put the drop downs related to months, years, dates, removal of zero accounts back at the top of the screen - please please please Aditi - have someone call me and I can point this out to them - the modern reporting is at best useless

Jeff Dolowy thanks for the feedback. We’re actively working on the issues you mentioned — specifically, moving the most-used features such as ‘Display Columns by Time Period,’ ‘Customers,’ ‘Vendors,’ and the ‘Compare’ feature to the top panel of the reports.
