When using account numbers reports should run in numerical order

All the comparative reports now throw any accounts without activity in the current period, but there was activity in the compared column get tossed to the bottom the section of the report, in amount order, not even numerical there. All reports should have an option to sort numerically or alphabetically. Then the accounts that have activity in either period should be presented in the order chosen. I have to go through every section of the reports to resort the account manually. This takes valuable time.

I would add that sorting by dollar amount is often useful too.

Pamela Kyle - I agree that it is. However, it is most useful if it applies to the entire section. That is what is so frustrating. The entire section should follow the same sort order.

I thought they fixed it. I had a long convo with support and then the comparison reports ran in account number order the next day.

I also shared this same comment - we should have the ability to structure the reports the way we want it presented, not just a system default.

I absolutely agree with this. We use account numbers for the very reason that we want to control the display in reports. Thanks for submitting!
