Clients with a need for a pay type for housing allowance, such as pastors, nannies and property caretakers; who fall under different tax exemptions with the housing allowances, we have not been able to transition to QBO payroll because they have not yet made it possible to specify the tax tracking per pay item as QBDT does. In QBO it is only possible to specify per employee for all wages paid to that employee. Please look at adding this feature prior to QBDT sunsetting in 2027. We are currently looking into other options to move these clients to and not waiting till the last minute.
