Requiring WA State L&I to be filed manually

I had the same issue with NC, SC, and Colorado. Various issues like QBO taking the state taxes from the bank account and not paying it over to the state or showing paid in QBO but the taxes was never deducted. The state setup dont work and even after getting QBO support to update the info for state, it is still not correct.

Automated Payroll Tax Payments and Filing Not a Good Idea for Contractors

Quickbooks Payroll setup and capabilities do not support the range of state tax filing requirements for Contractors. Automating the filing and payment is NOT a good idea. I will be blocking all of my contractor clients settings from this happening until you either upgrade your Payroll capabilities or until payroll taxes for contractors gets more streamlined in WA State...good luck with that.

I disagree with the forced changes to require my customers to file their taxes through QBO without having the option to close this feature. In my experience, QBO has mistakes 75% of the time minimum with no way to fix those mistakes
And you do not file WA State L&I
There is no way to make adjustments in the current forms or tax payments. QBO does no have all of the payment options for all of the various companies. You just try to make all companies fit your mold and that is not realistic. You don't look out for the best of the companies or tax professionals. You think you are making my job easier by taking away my options but you are making it harder. QBO is trying to force tax preparers and bookkeepers out and replace them with their faulty software all the while increasing prices each year. I will be shopping for new software now
THERE ARE OTHER PAYROLL PREP SOFTWARES!!
