Filings and payments should be OPTIONAL for all customers. I manage my cashflow and payments very carefully. I do not want Intuit taking over this without my consent just to park money in an account so they can gain interest. I strongly disagree with this mandatory approach. Efforts to get my feedback up the food chain have been very challenging. THIS SHOULD BE OPTIONAL for all paying customers. I have never missed a payment or filing and this should be optional.

Intuit was supposed to be making my tax payments. It was set to auto. They were making them and then stopped. Didn’t tell anyone. I Didn’t get any alerts I got so many fees. They only reimbursed me like $10.

I disagree with it to , I have some clients that use qbo for payroll and qbo keeps putting another state on their w2, I have to go every year and file it on the social security website to make sure it is correct, I also have several that I have to file manually on the department of labor site due to special circumstances.

Agreed! I have several clients who are very upset with this mandate - something they NEVER asked for. Also, they have more faith in knowing their accountant is monitoring the payments & filings than having Intuit do so automatically.
Some clients have the same issue, tight cash and need for movement of funds. Intuit has not been clear on when specific tax payments will be withdrawn... for example, a client with a quarterly VA filing frequency - will the taxes accrue or will the taxes be withdrawn each payroll, held by Intui and then remitted quarterly? If so, that would mean Intuit is holding funds and earning interest for potentially up to 3 months. Not acceptable.
