AI Features and Functionality Changes Not Great For The Super User

It feels like Intuit is building in AI features and changing functionality and workflows to guide less experienced users, but in the process, they’re taking control away from those of us who actually know what we’re doing. It’s like they want us to rely on their “decisions” instead of our own and at times even "own" the entries, such as sales tax liability or payroll entries. If the goal is to drive advanced users away, they’re nailing it. I’ve already started looking for alternatives which is heartbreaking, because I love QuickBooks.

Ray, Leslie Simmons , Paula Albanese-Hanlon and Molly Pellegrino- I appreciate your candid feedback. I see you are frustrated because it is causing you and your firm pain and time. Could I email you to set up time to speak with us to really understand these issues if you're willing to share with a wider group of Intuit team members? I have your emails and can reach out to you directly.

Aditi Sahani I am good with that!

Aditi Sahani - I appreciate the follow up. I would be happy to help improve QBO.

Aditi Sahani yes, I'd be open to receiving an email to discuss further. I'll spend some time on our weekly staff meeting tomorrow to ask my staff about pain points this is causing now that we have a handful of clients on the new UI.

I will not be leaving QB and will continue to hope Intuit listens to our feedback. I know what it takes to be an expert. Switching to another platform would take too long to become a power user.
Yesterday I worked on a file that had been completely migrated to the new format (Bank Feeds, new Navigation Bar, Advanced Search etc). What normally would have taken 4 hours become 5 and half. Waste of my time.

Leslie Simmons I really hope they listen to feedback as well but it won't prevent me from reviewing other options!

I agree with Ray, I used to love QBO and have moved everyone to it and only support QBO, however I'm rethinking that decision and have started my pursuit to find a better alternative. The Accountant program isn't supported like it was, the changes that are horrible with no regard to the accountant super user, and the COST... is ridiculous...

Paula Albanese-Hanlon Agreed on the Accountant program. Accountant support used to be very helpful but recently when I call, I know more than the support agent. So frustrating.

We're also looking at alternatives. I have at least 3 companies switching to NetSuite in the next year. With the QBO subscription increases from these AI "improvements" and QBES being ridiculously expensive, it's making it easier for those companies on the fence to make the decision on finally implementing an ERP. I'm still looking at alternatives for the little guys.
