Allow PayPal as a bank feed connection, not integration

Please bring back the ability to link PayPal as a bank feed connection. the integration is very difficult to use--especially for clients that use PayPal for various functions (paying vendors, receiving donations, receiving payments for services, etc). The Bank feed was much cleaner and allowed me to enter the transactions correctly. The integration makes too many incorrect assumptions and tends to make a mess of things.

The PayPal App is such a mess! It doesn't even bring in every transaction and it is so difficult to research/search for things. Transfers not showing up and missing transactions.

It is still possible to add PayPal as a bank feed, but the "SYNC STOPPED Your PayPal app needs immediate attention" message continues to take up space (about 33% of the working area) on your bank feed forever. I would like to add my voice to at least remove this "error message" for those of us who did not feel comfortable with the required approvals for the new PayPal app.

Agreed. The integration setup also automatically creates numerous un-deletable GL accounts, which complicates existing workflows and confuses clients.

Now that Products can be assigned in the banking feed, there is zero need for this completely cumbersome integration. The Banking Feed version worked fine.

I agree - the new integration has less functionality and is much more difficult to use.

Completely agree - also the new integration takes much too long to get set up! I have a client who made the switch on her account in December that is still showing as in process. Generally though, the functionality is a huge step backwards.
