Please let the customer have the ability to save their credit card and enable autopay without needing a QBO account. Currently the only way for a customer to save their credit card is if we do it on our end ourselves and for it to automatically pay recurring invoices. However, that is extremely annoying and the customer should be in control in regard to if they want their credit card info saved and whether they want to enable autopay or not. However, they are not in control since to save the card they need to provide us with the card info so we can do it on our end and if they want to stop autopay or remove the card they again need to go through us or need to have a QBO account.

There are plenty of payment platforms or even accounting softwares like Wave, as an example, that let the customer save their credit card info and enable autopay for recurring invoices without ever needing to create an account with Wave. So, I do not see why QBO cannot do the same.
