Bank description from CSV upload completely incorrect

When uploading transactions from CSV, the bank details do not even come close to matching the actual CSV file. It's a disaster. And unchangeable so all those transactions show incredibly incorrect information when actually accepted and recorded. It also makes it impossible to bulk sort and classify. What a nightmare.

Yes, I am having this with several of my clients. Even massaging the data with excel functions to get cleaner memo fields is failing about 25% of the time. I have to fix what QB fails to follow in my bank rules, which are solid for the rest of my clients. Also, I have to avoid bringing in payroll lines in the feed because they no longer match the existing payroll entries. Too much inconsistency in description fields and no useful application of AI to identify payer/payee and account.

Yes its also changing amounts
Uploading extra transactions
My CSV had 118 lines only 114 were uploaded and of those 28 were muddled up
Also created non existant transactions

Yes! I've noticed this on Chase. When I try to download the QBO file, it only imports a certain amount of transactions at a time so I have to keep repeating the process until I have them all, but they're all accurate. When I import the csv file, the bank details are all wrong so I don't even bother anymore.
