Awesome news! FYI this also happens for customers.

It's being fixed for both, everywhere that customer and vendor appear in QuickBooks. Bank feeds was the biggest source but the same problem also happens in transaction forms too.

Thanks for confirming. We fixed this and have the change ready to go. To minimize disruption to accountants during the height of tax season, we are in a quiet period through April 15. You should see the fix immediately after that.

Also, with the name fields being connected to each other, when I want to only change one field, it changes the other fields and then I have to go back and fix them or start over and manually enter. It's a huge inconvience to have it set up this way. I understand the logic, but not everyone uses the same name in each field. Why even have separate fields if you're going to connect that way?

When I set add a new vendor company, I delete the first, middle, last name.

Marie Porolniczak But for every vendor that's 3 additional steps. I'd much rather ADD the info for individuals than delete the info for businesses. This has to be one of the least helpful "upgrades".

Hi Durriyyah Abdullah, could you please clarify which issue started happening recently? Is it the company name appearing in the first / middle / last name fields, or something else?

Eric FosterThe first word in the company name is appearing in the first name field, the second word is appearing in the middle name field, the rest of the company name appears in the last name field. It's incredibly annoying and such a time waster to have to fix every.single.time you add a new vendor.

Eric Foster It's been happening for many months for me, over a year perhaps.
