Bank of America Connection Error 324

For approximately 5 months now we've had to ask our client to reconnect all 12 entities, 16 bank accounts, Bank of America bank connections. Our client has contacted Bank of America and we've called QuickBooks Service Desk receiving instructions on disconnecting and reconnecting. We disconnected and reconnected all accounts with the client together, but once again the connections are all broken after less that 24 hours after reconnecting. What is the solutions here, since the client now has decided to leave QuickBooks and the frustration is extremely high.

Nicholas Guan - While it is true other financial insitutuions have had this problem occasionally (eg TRUIST and CHASE), BOA is the only one that the link consistently fails, so there is something different with them.
I have a client with one BOA credit card. This should be a simple link. That means there is one log in and one account to link. The client can log in directly through the BOA website to obtain his statement. Last week, he can no longer make any connection to BOA through QBO.

Leslie Simmons - thank you for sharing the feedback. I will send you a separate email to gather more information about the client so then our team can see if it is part of a broader known issue. Please keep an eye out for an email from me.

Camilla Fontenot thank you for bringing this up. I dislike working with Bank of America in general because of the lack of customer service. Most of my clients have left BOA for more responsive banking relationships. The remaining clients who are still with BOA have had the recurring problem described. The clients independently and with me have tried using Chrome, clearing cache, using Incognito Mode, trying other browsers and speaking with BOA (they claim this is a "QBO issue" and provide no help). As a temporary workaround I convert a PDF of the statements (I use 2qbo Convert Pro with PDF+) and import. This is not optimal because I recommend clients review Bank Feeds daily/weekly, particularly if they are assigning costs to jobs.

Hi Nicholas,
To be completely honest I am not sure, because I was not able to see the pop up window. Only the QuickBooks window.
But I do believe he only selected eg. Company A bank account when connecting Company A QBO file.
Would you say if the client would log in to Company A and select all Bank of America Accounts, the connections would be restored to all QBO subscription files?
Is there a possibility to have someone walk the client through these steps?
We no longer feel confident giving our client advise as every attempt has resulted in defeat over the past 5 months.

Camilla Fontenot - I will send a follow up email to gather your client's information and we can coordinate there. Thank you!

Hi Camilla, thank you for reaching out and I apologize for the frustration this has caused for you and your client. This issue is not isolated to just Bank of America and the steps provided can be applied to most banks.
When you were working with this client, could you share if the following were true?
- Did you/the client use one bank login credential across multiple QBO files and entities?
- When going through the connection flow and the bank window pops up (like the generic screenshot attached), is your client selecting all accounts to provide Intuit access? This window is usually branded with the bank you are connecting with.
At this popup window, the client has to select all accounts surfaced even though not all accounts may be relevant to the QBO file they are working on at the moment. After completing this step, the client will have the opportunity to then determine which bank accounts to map to an account in QBO, which transactions will then populate the bank feed.
Note: If you are using the same bank login credential across multiple QBO files, make sure the same QBO user is repeating the same "all" selection on the bank popup for every instance.
Happy to elaborate further and provide more guidance.
