Convert an Expense to a Bill Payment

In the old QBO we were be able to go into an expense and add bills to convert it into a bill payment. This was nice because you might not have the bill right away and you can post the expense to reconcile then convert it later. Now there is no option for this and i am constantly having to delete expenses and readd them as bill payments then go and re-reconcile the bank account.

It would be nice if the gray arrow was more prominent. Most people never notice it.

you should be able to to go to the expense, open it up, in the far right upper corner (if there is a bill) is a < greyed out, if you click on that it opens the drawer to the bills, you can select the appropriate bill with the check mark... Note the < will not be there if there are no bills in AP. hope that helps

Paula Albanese-Hanlon Thank you So much for this!!! I thought it was gone completly. I use RightTool and it was covering up that little arrow so i never noticed it. I really appreicate your input.

Maggie LaHaie you are WELCOME!!! Alot of the new changes with QBO are not as visible as they should be on our side if you don't know they are there!
