"Dont Ask Me Again"

There is a feature when changing a payee that populates every time that asks "Do you want to prefill this expense and overwrite your entries using values from this contacts last expense". Ive never once in 10 years used this function, yet I have click it every time I change a payee.
Can we PLEASE just have a "dont ask me again box" or just remove this prompt all together. It would be useful if it only populated the category, but when it changes the amount it renders the function entirely useless.

This setting is deep in the settings, and turned on by default. Most people don't know it even exists. A "dont ask me again" checkbox seems like a much more elegant way of shutting this off, if the setting is going to be turned on but largely unused.
This setting is on globally, which I would argue shouldn't be the case. Most people with recurring expenses like this use case will do a recurring entry or copy. The function has never made sense to me from the get go.

Hi Chris Macksey, you can turn this off. The idea behind the setting is that if you have a lot of repeat expenses, then it will fill them out for you, but if you have already entered something into the form, we don't want to overwrite what you've already written without checking with you first. So what's probably happening here is
- you have the setting on
- you entered some data in the form
- after that, you entered a payee which triggered the automation
But because you did 2 before you did 3, the automation would overwrite whatever you did in 2, and it's looking for your permission before overwriting what you did. One way around this is to enter the payee first, but if you don't need the automation at all, then I'd say just turn the whole setting off so that the whole problem goes away and you'll never need to think about it again.
