Importing PDF Bank Statement Procedure

Typically, when importing a .QBO, .CSV, and up until recently a .PDF of a bank or CC statement, the dialogue asked for the account to which the transactions should be imported. It is still working that way for .QBO, but importing a .PDF now brings in the statement information (extraction is working fine) without asking for an account (from the COA). Instead, it displays that no account has been selected and there's a box to "move the unmapped transactions". You have to first "create an account" (which entails specifying the correct account from the COA), provide a bunch of information (statement name, account number, etc. (why?), provide start/end dates - then continue which creates the account. Then you have to know to go back to the first account, select the transactions - at that point the "move" option lights up and you can move them to newly "created" account. Once you've done that you can import them into that account. I think this needs a review as going from a single question of "where" to all of this somehow doesn't seem intuitive. I only figured it out after a bunch of trial and error. Please take a look and see what you think. Thank you.

Hi Todd Plager, thank you for sharing your feedback. For a PDF file, we are also accommodate scenarios where the PDF may have multiple accounts (For example, a combined statement with multiple Checking Accounts). As a result, selecting an account before the upload may not be able to scale. However, we are open to suggestions and would appreciate your feedback.
If you are available and would you be open to us reaching out via email to follow up separately? Thank you
