It appears that QBO is automatically setting up merchant accounts and trying it's best to get customers to use the payment platform. This causes confusion with clients, when as the accountant, we intentionally set them up on QBO with the specific services we want, and then more services are added without consent of the accountant or client. Request that this be turned off in QBO that that accountants or clients need to sign up for these services specifically.
