Terms-based discounts (1%/Net 30, etc.) – This simply doesn’t exist in QBO. Many of our clients in the HVAC, plumbing, manufacturing, construction industries still have vendors that offer terms-based discounts & the workarounds in QBO are manual & cumbersome. Again, this functionality exists in QBDT & works perfectly fine.

Clients on QB Desktop looking for same invoice/bill discount options in QBO. For instance, a 2% 10 Net 30" (a 2% discount if paid within 10 days, otherwise net due in 30). Unlike QuickBooks Desktop, QuickBooks Online does not automatically calculate or apply the discount amount when receiving or making a payment. You must perform the math and entry yourself
