Option to turn off the side menu

Please provide the option to turn OFF the auto opening of the "All Apps" side menu. It's repetitive of what's already available. It takes up valuable screen space with no value added. There are already several menu options and other ways to navigate in QBO. It takes extra time to close and work around resulting in lower efficiency. QBO is supposed to make things easier, faster - this is getting in the way.

I would also request that the main page opening from a menu item (e.g. Standard Reports page when you click Reports) contain the navigation buttons ON THE PAGE to access the other pages in that menu group (e.g. Custom Reports). The current reliance on the hover function is not very practical, as it requies taking the attention away from your workflow and refocusing on navigating the menu. Hover functionality looks cool but it is detrimental to the productivity of the work.
Additionally, I would ask that the Feed button be configurable (to display or hide). Most of our customers do not use this, and this button just takes away valuable screen real estate.

Agreed. QBO takes over the entire screen on any machine and does not have options to narrow columns that "stick" after a screen refresh for data update regardless of whether the change in data comes from a drill-down to transactions or originates in a different tab or browser.
