Provide option to omit from the automatic payroll tax filing and payment. We (Company ID is 9341 4546 8762 2516) used to use QuickBooks for the payroll tax filing and payments however you charge my account for the 940, 941 and C-3 at the same time which causes me to end up in the black with my bank account. I would prefer either an option to continue to pay outside of QuickBooks or to control which item to charge at what time like the 941 to go after payroll while the 940 pays at the end of the year.
I would also like to include that the last time I spoke to a Representative, I think in June of 2026, about this paying and filing outside of QuickBooks was still okay.
Thank you.

Thank you.. I do think the option to schedule the payroll taxes on your own would be so beneficial for many small business owners. This option should be brought back to the owner of the business!!!!!

I applaud this effort, too. And have also been requesting to have this optional. Intuit deducted my accumulating 940 taxes LAST MONTH and will be holding onto that money now until late January 2027! The first mandatory payroll tax removal critically impacted our cash flow. It is a mess and I am spending MORE time just trying to manage Inuit's money grab instead of running my business. This must stop.

I applaud this effort, and have been asking for the same since at least November 2025 when Intuit made it clear this would no longer be an option for continuing clients after July 1, 2026. However, it was noted via feedback on this forum (but under the payroll section which has since closed) a manual filing/pay option would never come back.
Intuit is clearly earning too much interest from holding a client's cash in their account before forwarding the tax payment to the tax authority opposed to providing a product to that provides adequate user satisfaction.
