QBO is Down Again

QBO is down again this morning and I sincerely hope Intuit is monitoring the feedback being shared on DownDetector.com and other customer forums. Recurring outages and system glitches don't just create temporary inconveniences—they have a significant impact on our ability to serve our clients.
As accounting professionals, we work under strict deadlines and are entrusted with our clients' financial data. When QuickBooks Online becomes unavailable or core features fail unexpectedly, our work comes to a standstill. Deadlines are missed, meetings have to be rescheduled, accounting tasks are delayed, and we are left explaining issues that are entirely outside of our control.
Beyond the lost productivity, these outages damage the trust we've worked hard to build with our clients. They expect reliability from us, and we expect the same from the software we pay a premium to use. Unfortunately, service interruptions have become frequent enough that they're no longer isolated incidents—they're becoming part of the normal experience.
As subscription costs continue to increase, reliability should be improving, not declining. Intuit needs to recognize that these recurring outages have real financial and reputational consequences for the accounting professionals and businesses who depend on QBO every day.

I’m equally frustrated with the repeated downtime QBO has been causing lately. One client demanded that I get on the phone immediately to find out what was happening and even said they wouldn’t pay me if I didn’t resolve it right away. It took over an hour before the QuickBooks Status page admitted the system was down, and they never sent an email notifying us that it was a global issue.
Once I explained this to the client, they were more understanding, but they are still requesting a credit for the time lost when I couldn’t complete their work.

Mia Dreher What an absurd reaction to something that is completely out of your control. I'm so sorry you're dealing with those unreasonable expectations - no one deserves to be treated like that!

I completely agree with this assessment. Due to outages of QBO last week I had to close my office down. You can't afford to pay people to stay at work and do nothing, but also its not their fault so you still have to pay them. So the day was very costly due to no productivity . This is becoming an extreme issue, I am thinking of trying out other software to see if I can even make another software work for my clients if so I will be converting them all over. QBO not only had outages but it had several "updates" for features we have said we did not want because what we had worked for us, but Intuit seems to be turning a deaf ear to those who are paying for their services, it is very frustrating.
