View GL registers - please make viewing preferences "stick" (column, other, and # of rows to show)

I'm not sure where to place this feedback, so I just picked bank feeds. One of the things that drives me nuts when viewing registers is that the gear icon with the "columns," "other," and "rows" doesn't "stick" after setting them on an account. When I make my selections (always 300 rows, compact, show in one line), it's good, but if I refresh the page or open another register, they revert to a default of 50 rows, and the compact box isn't checked. "Show in one line" usually sticks. This has driven me nuts for years, so I'm finally sharing it, and asking, please, please, please make these settings sticky.

Agreed... my preferences stick sometimes but then fall off. What's absolutely the worst is having to get rid of the extraneous column, Full Account Name, on EVERY REPORT, EVERY TIME. I mean, seriously... why is it even there when it's already indicated in the left column? It just makes it so you can't see the amount and balance data on screen unless you go and remove the column. So even when you just need to look at something in a quick report, you have to fuss with the settings to even see the relavent data. It used to collapse the whole report when you got rid of the column. But, that is at least fixed now. Other frustrations with reports: Tax Amount column shows as a negative value requiring formulas & formatting in excel; value columns wrapping once you export to pdf instead of just making the report landscape or adjusting scale to fit. These things used to work fine and have been broken since all the recent fiddling about... the result is my reports look unprofessional without a bunch of work outside of qbo. This makes Management Report packages almost obsolete. Don't forget the basics while trying to make improvements or you're wasting the effort.
