No one is working on these things at the same time. My team gets these notes that I'm working on XYZ at the same time and therefore the work is not saved. In the meantime, not only am I not working on XYZ, I don't even have QBO open. I haven't been on all day. No one use uses my credentials. This is a constant event.

I often get this message when attempting to modify transactions using Spreadsheet Sync, and it often says my account is the duplicate user

I'm getting this message too. It's frustrating.

I get this message that I myself and myself again are both working on xxx task at the same time! I get this a lot when I am trying to sync data with spreadsheet sync... very frustrating!

This frequently happens when some saved change occurs while we're working on a JE (or invoice, etc.). Typically, the saved change comes from system admin - at times the reason is obvious (a customer payment is made on an invoice while editing an invoice) but other times the reason isn't clear.

yes, this happens a lot. And when you are on a long JE, it is extremely frustrating. Fix the Database save rules so it does not expect us accountants to redo our work!!!!!

I get these frequently telling me I was working on it at the same time as myself. 🙄

Gila Halleli - Thanks for the feedback. Could you provide a screenshot and where in the product you're seeing this message?

Aditi Sahani It comes up primarily when entering journal entries, invoices or bills. One of us will be recording a JE and when we go to record, we get that message and have no choice but to start over. I don't have a screenshot. I got it today when I was working on a JE; a colleague was working on the JE at the same time. The JE was

. No one else had ever worked on it and no one could, because it had never been recorded. Nor did I have it open in multiple browsers. A colleague got that message that I was working on the same transaction even though I hadn't even opened QBO for a few days. This happens all the time; I can't believe this is the first time you've encountered this.S

Gila Halleli I agree! This has caused major setbacks and wasted hours of time. We had a huge project we were working on, using journal entries. I would input 10 to 15 accounts and then try to save. Error message kept popping up and I had to start over. Literally hours wasted. Tried several browsers to see if that would help and it did not.

Aditi Sahani This has happened to us too, many, many times. And it completely grounds us to a halt on that client. And every time it's happens, there is only one person working in the client - and that's the one they say is "also" working. I'll try again a few hours later and it is still happening. I usually have to wait 1-2 days before trying that entry again to get it to work. This has kept me from getting good reports out timely to clients and wasted many hours trying work arounds.

Aditi Sahani this also happens on the Vendor profiles when trying to merge vendors or bulk updating the categorization of transactions on the vendor profile screen.
