Bank Feed & Accounting Agent feedback

With the new price changes, many of my smaller clients are not going to want to pay for their current level of subscription (plus). You are pricing out smaller businesses.

I stopped posting in here several months ago because I felt like I was just complaining every day. However, the interface that rolled out last summer continues to irritate me, my staff and my clients. I feel it keeps getting worse and worse. Last year the responses we received on here were quite dismissive as if we just weren't willing to adopt to new software. We adopt new software, improved software and upgraded software all of the time as accountants, so I found that attitude toward us quite insulting. After a year of working with the "improved" bank feed, AI Agent, and new menus all over the place, I'm going to be honest, it's gotten worse and continues to frustrate everyone that uses it. This frustration occurs whether I'm training a new or experienced user. This is not an adoption problem; this is a developer problem. I've been able to implement new workflow software over the last year in less time. I've switched some companies to Zoho. I've moved clients to BILL.com , RAMP and Expensify. We left our old workflow software to try using the QBO native Close Books, then Books Close and the bank activity client request feature. The QB tools just don't cut it so we're now implementing Double since it has the same features, plus more, and the screens don't take forever to load. Intuit is trying to do too much, too soon, and jumping to the next greatest and latest before even half of the bugs are fixed on things they rolled out a year ago. It is getting tiring forever working in a beta test environment.

There have been Several instances where we find that our settings for various things have been changed without our knowledge. This is unacceptable and needs to stop!!!!

Currently the default date range for mapping only goes back 4 months. Most of my clients are in the construction industry with projects that last up to a year. Any vendor bills more than 4 months old do not register as a match in the bank feeds which leads to wrongly categorized bill payments. Allow us to set a default that stays sticky. I want to be able to have at least a year of date range to catch retainage payments on old bills and invoices.

The old system allowed me to view photos of the checks individually. The new system does not. It cuts off the ability to view checks for the deposits. If there are more than 5 checks, I cannot view the remainder of the checks to match up my deposit with my invoices. I prefer the old system for matching checks to invoices.

Suggesting matches that have already been matched to other transactions

There is a feature when changing a payee that populates every time that asks "Do you want to prefill this expense and overwrite your entries using values from this contacts last expense". Ive never once in 10 years used this function, yet I have click it every time I change a payee. Can we PLEASE just have a "dont ask me again box" or just remove this prompt all together. It would be useful if it only populated the category, but when it changes the amount it renders the function entirely useless.

In Intuit Accountant Suites when assigning Proadvisor training to the team it should send them an email and task. It doesn't show up under the bell notifications like it is supposed to

Please bring back the ability to link PayPal as a bank feed connection. the integration is very difficult to use--especially for clients that use PayPal for various functions (paying vendors, receiving donations, receiving payments for services, etc). The Bank feed was much cleaner and allowed me to enter the transactions correctly. The integration makes too many incorrect assumptions and tends to make a mess of things.

The AI Banking is not following our rules, instead it turned them into generic rules for personal, when we had them set up to be more specific. AI IS WORKING AGAINST OUR RULES. We are having to go into each rule and reset it to the category we want and turn off the automatic. Turn off AI, bookkeeping is a nuanced art and we use specific categories.
